Not decided what pistol to use yet for round 6 as I have less pistols now I wondered if the HW45 is ok for the comp thus enabling me to keep using a different pistol each round. It would be a laugh as its the final round, M.

HW45 would be good, but the forward recoil might need some taming.

I have tried it on the low power setting its surprisingly manageable using my wedge shaped block of foam rest, indeed the pistol is much more accurate generally than I expected I think the new type grips help a lot well chuffed, M. :D

Weather was "reasonable" when I got up, so decided to shoot a few comps.

Unfortunately, by the time I had finished setting up, it had started to rain. Still, I wasn't packing up so I shot in the rain.

My scores are down a little., but I think this sad more the low light than anything.

Kind regards,

Not shot mine yet, have practised this time for the benchrest comp, but have not decided which pistol to use yet, M.

I have enjoyed using the Original Model 10 to shoot this comp, and will continue to do so.

When creating the target I deliberately made it none standard. As a result, I cannot adjust the sights enough to use "dot the I" aiming as I normally do, and have to aim off as a consequence.

This seems to work well, but it does take a couple of reminder shots to remember by how much.

Kind regards,

Phil

I do not have to use holdover as I currently only shoot the Bench rest comp so I am a little more fortunate in that way although I do miss shooting the other comps, M. :(
