Ah, I see!

Perhaps the rules could make allowances for such an eventuality.

Come to think of it perhaps a two handed grip could be allowed in the case of physical problems?

What do you think Phil?

Excellent feedback, and an interesting point.

Perhaps a revision could be:-

This can be anywhere between the muzzle and the front of the trigger guard, or the bottom of the grip. If the hand extends below the bottom on the grip, then the hand may contact the rest.

Kind regards,

Phil

"If the hand extends below the bottom of the grip" (as it does mine), "then the hand may contact the rest". Many thanks guys, that will solve my problem completely. :)

It sounds a fair solution, and still only makes one point of contact with the rest.

Kind regards,

Yes, I think so and ready for a December launch.

I would suggest adding something about the distance.

For standing, the shooters feet must of course be behind the line. As such, I'd suggest the shooters elbow must be behind the line.

We also need to decide 1 target sheet (10 shots) or 2.

I was thinking the round lasts a full calendar month to give everybody time to shoot.

Kind regards,

Phil

I've finished the rules,  quite simple really, and just need to tweak the target, then we can get going.

Hopefully, I'll get them uploaded tomorrow.

This will be in the competitions area though,  not here.

I am proposing a calendar month in which to shoot the comp.

To keep everything consistent, I am thinking 6 rounds per season.

Kind regards,

Phil

It does look good, and i will join in as soon as i'm able may i be so bold to suggest a discussion forum within the target section where people can easily exchange thoughts, ideas, comments, and no doubt some banter   on the contest rather than trawling through the general or other sections to find any discussion. Good luck to everyone providing their scoring less than me when i join in, M.

I was going to take advantage of the sun, and shoot this afternoon, but we had to go shopping, somebody kindly scuffed my good lady's bumper on Friday so I resprayed that side,  then I stripped and rebuilt the MP-53, and it was suddenly dark.

Hopefully tomorrow will be just as nice.

I shall be using my Original 6G with RWS R10s; though I'll have to check my aim point, as it's set up for the UBC 6 yard competition.

Kind regards,

Phil
