This being the Classic air pistol association, I recommend that we stick with slow-fire, single-shot comps.

If you want action shooting, we have plenty of that on the UBC's Forum:

Yes Jim, well put.

This is pretty much a multi shot CO2 replica free zone, so any comps are/will be aimed at the more traditional "classic" air gun.

We have started with a benchrest pistol competition, aimed at all abilities/disabilities, which is going quite well, with a nice varied and interesting variety of pistols used.

Perhaps in the future when the numbers entering the competitions grow it might be worthwhile considering dividing the existing comps in to two sections recoiless & recoiling thus giving the springers a more even chance & of course there's no reason why folk could not enter both sections if so wished, M. :?:
