Manchester Air Guns

Post by pmh » Thu Jan 03, 2013 10:30 pm

Probably the oldest and longest running dedicated airgun shop in the country, and well worth a mention.

Friendly staff, good range of items, and an excellent re-bluing service.

Some items can be a bit pricey, but they are "local" for many shooters.

Link to their website is >here<

Kind regards,

I believe Colin is now setting up on his own and the re-bluing service will continue away from MAG. No info on how to contact him yet though.

Popped in today for a nosey around.

Colin wasn't in, but Alan Hamer and another chap were there.

I usually have a bit of a natter with Colin.

Noticed the Crosman 2240 in stock for £75.

An excellent price for a gun that can be GMAC'd to your hearts desire.

Kind regards,

Phil

I believe that Colin is also the man to talk to about chrome and nickel plating - I had intended to call him in February re plating my EB22. I hope that there are some contact details soon!

He is, and I believe he is going to be concentrating on bluing, and other finishes, more and more in the near future, as JonW mentioned earlier.

Clank, from the UBC, knows him quite well, and I am sure he'd be happy to pass his details on.

Kind regards,

Phil

Thanks Adam77K.

I'll bookmark that site

Wish I knew about them when I was upgrading my Rabbitstopper. I have some parts from TR Robb on mine and my sons gun. Great fun in the back garden due to lack of power. Eats up CO2 cylinders.
