I didn't do as well with my chosen gun as I would have liked, so am intending to change for the next round.

My Gamo Compact is calling, then so are my Originals.

The emphasis, as has been mentioned a few times, is on fun and enjoyment.

The "committee" will review the results after month two, and make a decision on divisions.

Around half the shooters have submitted their scores, so far, and there is quite a difference between the highest and the lowest, so some balance is required.

Kind regards,

Phil

Only a couple of days left now for Round 1.

We are supposed to be in for several days of sunshine, so abandon the gardening, and get shooting.

I think emailing the results put most of them off.

There are only so many targets you can staple to a carrier pigeon before they go off course. :banana-dance:

We have another entrant here too - my mate Jim.
He was going to shoot his June cards this weekend so we may have got off to a slow start but we have some really dedicated shooters on board here.

I’m going off to go find myself. If I’m not back by the time I return, keep me here.

Now up to 25 entrants.

I didn't think it would be this popular.

Just sent in my round 2 scores.

Seemed to do a little better, but still in no danger of bothering those at the top of the scale!

I think I'll be in my own group - see if I can improve with every round.

I need to work on my concentration, the best cards are numbers 1-3 then Iose it for 4 and 5 before shooting a good card at the end.

Plus I missed the target totally this time!!!! Although I did get an all black round so I'm quite happy with this.

Can't wait to see the results.

The 6 yard competition is a very interesting one, in that people who struggle with 10m think they will dramatically improve at 6 yards.

The reality seems to be that whatever shooters tend to score at 10m, then they also score at 6 yards.

I know my scores are actually down on the 6 yards, when compared with 10m.

I have never shot at ten yards, but I am surprised that I should be able to expect the same (ish) score as at six yards.

Both single handed?

I must see how far my garage is end to end, I might be able to squeeze 9 and a bit yards out of it!

Might try to shoot round 3 this weekend.

Try out my new methods of concentration for all targets. Not sure if I can wear a tutu and heels at the final though ;-)

Single handed only, as are all proper competitions.

All abilities are welcome, and the division system will give everybody a chance.
