Final scores now updated.

Well done to Ian J for winning.

It was very close, right up until the end.

A big thank you to all those who have taken part.

Details of the next competition will be posted soon.

Kind regards,

Firstly. Thank you Phil for running this and putting up with all the nonsense the competitors put on you - Myself very much included in this!
I am quite pleased with my results really and I will just have to try harder next season, can't let Ian or John G have all the glory now can we? Ian will be his usual insufferable self tonight I am sure!

Seriously though, this is a great comp and next season I will be using my LPM1 so lookout!

I’m going off to go find myself. If I’m not back by the time I return, keep me here.

Im sure I dont know what you mean. :liar:

Good competition and thank you Phil for all the time and effort you put into I. Im sure John G would have scored better if he had got down from his horse and yes, before all you clever dicks point out 'You dont get down from a horse. You get down from a duck!' :shifty: I know. :D
How much is it going to cost me for the winning trophy?

AH HA! The "winning trophy", hijacked by Bob last Tuesday due to your Non-attendance at the club.
I think there is a ransom

Just let him use those steps in the range to reach his target - he will be happy with that!

The trophy is now ready. I won't post any pictures until it had been awarded, as I don't want to spoil the surprise.

I just need to find a box big enough to pop it in.

Kind regards,

I will bring my camera on Thursday 2nd January when we will have our "Special Presentation and Award Ceremony" when we will present this prestigious trophy to IJ for winning the first British 6 yard Air Pistol Championship.

This now gives Ian and all the other competitors a National Ranking so Ian will now be known a "1IJ" and not just as simple "IJ".

Let hope this attribute will encourage others that have missed this wonderful opportunity to gain a national ranking to join the next series that will start this January and will run until June to give us our second 6 month 6yard postal series.

Tonight after quite a long delay due to bad weather road works (Rawtenstall getting its first sewage system  ) I received the large, prestigious 6yd MPL trophy for 2013. It was that large it nearly didn't fit into my car!
