2014 6 yard MPL Postal Competition.

Post by zooma » Sat Dec 21, 2013 9:34 am

Merry Christmas everybody and Good Shooting for 2014.

The 2014 6 yard MPL Postal Series will commence again in January so we can keep this excellent 6 yard postal event alive, so we really need to receive the 2014 the entries and to start work getting a large stack of targets stamped-up and ready to go.

The 10 metre MPL series is now a well established and respected competition with the rules well and truly sorted out and working efficiently and its 6 yard postal series younger brother can now also start share this success as it starts its second series.

Since last year the postal charges have increased but our entry fee has not and we have also reduced the price of spare targets by selling them x100 at a time.

Anybody that would like to send their entry fees to us by PayPal can use this address:- [email protected]

The new email address to send your scores to after you have shot each complete round of 6 cards is now [email protected]

I will also make some 100 target packs so anyone that would like a small stash of practice cards can "call them off" whenever they would like some.

014 6 yard MPL Postal Competition - Entry fee and spare targ

Post by zooma » Sun Dec 29, 2013 6:31 pm

2014 6 yard MPL Postal Competition - Entry fee and spare targets.

The price to enter the 2014 6 yard MPL postal series will remain unchanged from last year at £10 to include your 36 stamped competition cards plus postage if you would like them sending to you. (£3.70).

Anybody can "bulk-buy" their own spare targets direct from the NSRA, but for anyone that prefers to buy smaller quantities we would be pleased to supply them at £10.00 per 100 plus postage.

For those that want a fast delivery of their entry pack and a large number of spare targets a carrier will be less expensive than the GPO. We can offer a "next day" carrier for a tenner and there are no limits to the number of targets we can send for this delivery price.

If any group of shooters can share a delivery address we can combine any number of entries and spare targets in the one £10.00 carrier delivery to reduce postal charges.

Anybody that would like to send their entry fees to us by PayPal can use this address:- [email protected]

The new email address to send your scores to after you have shot each complete round of 6 cards is now [email protected]

Please let us know what air pistol you use each round as this can be very interesting for us and others to see what .177 springer or SSP pistols are the most popular. If you can also let us know what pellets you used that may help others see what works the best in their MPL pistols

Welcome to how to how to email your target scores in for the 6yd Muscle Power League.

It’s simple but to help at this end could you send the results in using a table as shown below (it does not show a table at the moment as the formatting has not transferred pasting it from a word document, just imagine it is a table), that way I can cut and paste them, it is both quick and there will less opportunity for me to make a mistake typing them. I will be taking the raw data from each target and not using the total but please put it in anyway. The reason:- to get round little mistakes on.

Below is an example of how I would like it (oh no it is'nt boxes have vamoosed). If you cannot create a table let me know and I can send you a template, failing that just send in name, pistol, pellets, score for each target and total.

January MPL results
Competitor pistol pellet 1 2 3 4 5 6 Total
J bloggs gat slug 31 34 33 30 34 31 193

The email to send the results to is:- [email protected]
All the best and good luck with raising your average.

Just a quick reminder that shooters can still pay for this competition with PayPal, the address remaining the same as last season:-

[email protected]

Details of shooters using PayPal will also automatically be forwarded to Bob, and he will confirm receipt of your payment and forward you your target pack as quickly as possible.

Kind regards,

Entry Pack + 100 Practice targets.

Post by zooma » Thu Jan 02, 2014 10:25 am

A few people have asked how much it would cost to send an entry pack and 100 practice targets.

The postal charges are now getting very expensive when the packet weights around a kilo and it will not fit into the letter box template the post office now use to size the padded envelopes but we can get Interlink to deliver a package this size and weight for £6.50.

So the cost for a package like this would be:-

£10 for the MPL 6 yard entry pack of 36 stamped targets,
£10 for x100 practice targets.
Interlink delivery £6.50.

Total cost £26.50

We already have 32 paid-up competitors for the new 2014 6 yard MPL postal series and we have a few more that have advised us that they will be joining in as well.

We can now also offer a .22 competition for those of you that would like to enter in your own .22 league so if you are interested - same entry - just let us know that it is the .22 competition that you would like to enter.

You can also enter both of the competitions - one entry for .177 and another entry for .22 - double the fun
