Here's a review of the FWB 65 from the September 1980 Target Gun magazine.
The third page in particular has several examples of paw prints from a wet Springer Spaniel.

FWB 65 1980 Target Gun Magazine Review
Re: FWB 65 1980 Target Gun Magazine Review
Hi Russell,
Thanks for posting the FWB 65 Target Gun Review which has brought back quite a few fond memories. We still have an FWB 65 "Club" pistol used to introduce newer members to precision pistol shooting, or just to recall how things were before the introduction of the now standard PCPs. One of my fellow club members had a compact version which I remember as being particularly nice to shoot being a bit less cumbersome to hold.
Regards
Brian

Re: FWB 65 1980 Target Gun Magazine Review
Nice to see these articles reproduced.
People who started with such guns, then moved onto PCPs are more likely to continue to own and shoot such guns.
Alas, the generation who grew up with PCPs are less likely.
Shame really.
Kind regards,
Phil
