My nicely looked after EMGE LP3a Pistol, made in West Germany by Gerstenberger and Eberwein, ( pre WW2 name of this company was Moritz and Gersteuber. The brand name "EM-GE" is the German pronunciation of the old initials "M" and "G"). These pistols were made from the mid 1950,s until the late 1970,s. These pistols were produced with great workmanship and finish to the blueing. My pistol is a good example.

Re: My EMGE LP3a Pistol
HI kj68
I too have owned, and enjoyed, this model of pistol for many years. It still works but is obviously in need of a service. My daughter, describing to a friend, suggested that "the pellets just fall out of the end of the barrel". A bit of an exaggeration but with some truth in there.
I have been told by two local gunsmiths that there are no longer any spare parts available for this pistol and I am too long in the tooth to learn the skills required to make any replacement parts required. Do you know of anybody who might undertake to service the pistol?
Thanks

Hi Mick I to found it really hard to get parts for this pistol, the only other options are either try to make them yourself or if you know someone who can make the parts for you. Happy shooting.
