I have just bought this nice pistol from friend Baz on our lend lease system (dont ask -works well!)
He bought it from Lawrie Amatruda a few years ago.
I think Lawrie has another one.
Does anybody on here have one ?

Not to be confused with the Healthways Plainsman bb pistol.
This one is a well built .22 noisy and accurate. 8grm co2.
I think they did a pump pistol too.

Any info welcome thanks.

A true hand cannon of the CO2 type. Use ear defenders when using. Amazingly accurate well built pistol from a bygone era, and hard to find in good condition for the collector.Designed by Challenger Arms to be easy for the owner to replace seals.

I have bought another one.
This one has a brass cylinder whereas my first one is steel.
Different co2 cap as well.

Friend Dave made me some wood grips for the first one which add to the looks and saves the plastic ones.

Hi,

A very rugged and seldom seen Co2 pistol, reminiscent of the Colt .45 ACP. I was impressed with the weight and balance of the Plainsman when I handled a boxed example at a recent Arms Fair.

Regards

That will be the one I bought off young Keith.
After a haggle or two!

This one came from Holland via Lawrie.
