Original model 6M

Postby Dave49 » Wed Mar 07, 2018 12:52 pm

I have just acquired an immaculate Original 6M target pistol that looks as though it has never been out of its box.
Under the front sight and screwed to the swivelling cocking sleeve there is a grey metal block which I have not seen in any photographs of this model.
The date of this gun is 05 83.
Is this block just a counter weighting device of some sort?
