Pope Air Pistol Research

Post by USAF25 » Fri Mar 30, 2018 5:29 pm

Conducting some research on the Pope Rifle Air Pistol made in the 1870's. Would like to hear from any collectors who have Pope air pistols with Serial Numbers. Trying to see if there is any correlation between the markings on the end cap and the serial numbers. Please provide me via pm or email with the serial number and the Markings Version. If you have any additional accessories or literature on the Pope I would like to hear about it. Any assistance you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

After 19 months and over 2,000 views, not a single response.

Does anyone out there have a 19th century Pope air pistol with a serial number stamped on the left side of the frame above the grip. Please, I would really like to hear from you.
