Walther CP2

Post by zooma » Sun Apr 28, 2013 6:35 pm

I have the use of two CP2 pistols whilst my CP1 is away, and they are more or less the same pistol.

The principle difference is the removable trigger unit that was fitted to the CP2, as opposed to the more traditional trigger installation on the CP1.

Just slackening two grub screws allows the trigger unit to be slid out for adjustment or repair - a great idea that was carried on to the  CP3 that followed it.

I am chasing  a CP3 at the moment, and if I get the chance to buy it I will add it to my growing Walther pistol collection and picture it on bobsairguns.

These early Walther CO2 pistols really are great to shoot and deadly accurate, but like all Walthers there are a lot of individual differences between pistols of the same type, making them a very interesting group of pistols to observe and collect (if funds permit).
