Hi Bob,
The foresight is an Air Arms S200 and the elements are Anschutz so it's decent quality although the foresight is only plastic or "composite" as they say nowadays.
I couldn't see me using them so thought as you like to play around with your target pistols they'd have a better home.
Let us know if you feel they improve the sighting of the "5", I thought they did but didn't like the "plasticity".

Thanks Eric,

I will fit it and give it a try.

One of these front tunnels sights has been fitted to my Webley Osprey Supertarget and it works well so I will try it on the Model 5 to see how it copes with the pressure of cocking the pistol (the front sight takes the load every time).

I am sure it will work well and I will be very pleased to use it.

Just a progress report - not much to report really - the Model 5 still shoots better than its current owner and I have gone back to the original sights for the time being as I am getting used to them but the front sight option is a welcome change that is available to "freshen things up a bit" when I fancy a change!

Many thanks to Eric for selling me the pistol and for sending the front sight options too :D

Did the original 5 have any serial number? I can not see one on mine.
I just purchased a mint condition one for around £100 and as said is a pleasure to shoot.

What would one use to lubricate the breach seal?
