crossman 2240
Re: crossman 2240
I think if we saw such highly unlikely scores from such an improbable source in any of our competitions we would simply not print them as they would discredit the competition.
However - this would be quickly followed by great applause and recognition of an incredible natural talent if such a series of cards could be repeated in a "live" and witnessed shoot to dispel all doubts.
Naturally the shooter concerned would be under a fair bit of pressure if he (or she) had the guts to produce the proof that they and their declared pistol choice could achieve these unlikely results, and he (or she) would also deserve a huge amount of respect if willing to do so.
Naturally a suitable "allowance" would have to be given for the pressure the shooter would be under to perform this task - unless they also had "nerves of steel" to go with their gifted pistol shooting ability.

Re: crossman 2240
The latest news is that the crossman has been tuned and everyone at his club is amazed at his ability with this pistol as he regularly beats a chap shooting a high end steyr. I thought I should update all who have commented on here regarding this matter.

Re: crossman 2240
Obviously a gifted shooter then - good news !
If he has club members to witness his competition cards then you have the proof you need to reassure the other competitors in your series that this is a genuine result from an abnormally talented shooter.
Look out for him at the next Olympic Games - he is just what the British team squad needs !

Has this been verified, or is it just an urban myth!beeker wrote:The latest news is that the crossman has been tuned and everyone at his club is amazed at his ability with this pistol as he regularly beats a chap shooting a high end steyr. Re: crossman 2240
Consensus from our shooters is to complete this inaugural league competition then revert to our own club competition which is competitive but fun.
