Walther LGR
Been shooting the "izzie" mostly, not done much with the Walther so i've shot the Walther for last couple of days, what a joy so much easier to shoot with some superb tight groups (not all in the right place ) just a little final tweak of the sights needed so i will finish that off next week, and then give it a bit more use, M.
WALTHER LP3],Etc[/b], G0JVB ex G6MUI.
It's usually a toss up between the 300s and LGR for many people.
I haven't shot the LGR, but I think it has more modern lines than the 300s.
That said, I wouldn't say no to either.
Kind regards,
Phil

Thanks for the kind offer, I look forward.
However, not sure if I can make this Thursday, given the current circumstances, as I have been busy making arrangements, etc, and the funeral is next Friday morning.
Kind regards,
Phil

Re: Walther LGR
I went over and had a look. Anyone wanting an LGR would be well advised to buy it if it's still there. These things don't come up that often and when they do you need to just go for it.RobinC wrote:There is a very nice looking LGR for sale at a good price on the Stirton website.
I have spent some time fettling mine and it shoots superbly, I have fitted it with a corrective lens for my eyesight and a very nice adjustable Iris. It is monotonous with it's repeatability. Now, if I can just hold it still for a few minutes!!
