Feinwerkbau 603
On arrival at the club on Thursday night, I wondered why Bob had a wry smile on his face.
After shooting my Dorset, I went upstairs to have a go at 6 yard/bell target and found out:-
Not sure where Bob finds these, but he certainly does!
This is about as good as it gets, and as mint as it gets.
It certainly is a bit heavier than the FWB300S and the Walther LGR, but it is nicely balanced with the sweetest trigger.
Personally, I'd frame it and put it on the wall!
Kind regards,
Phil

Hi Phil,
I believe it's also a cream tea or more worryingly a breed of sheep.
Only kidding.

Re: Feinwerkbau 603
Actually chaps - this is a Feinwerkbau 603 - the final variant of the 600 series SSP rifles that included the 600, 601, 602 and finally the 603.
The 603 has many of the features that would later be included in the PCP Feinwerkbau 700, and the Feinwerkbau 603 is sometimes described as an SSP version of the 700............and I know what they mean !
This is a very cool rifle -and I know of a guy in Poland that had at least 9 ( yes nine) of these fabulous 600 series rifles for sale at very affordable prices !

Re: Feinwerkbau 603
I couldn't remember which 600 model it was, so did a few Google searches.
I shall correct the Thread Title for the purpose of anybody wishing to search for this particular rifle.
It does, at first glance, look very similar to the 600s.
Kind regards,
Phil

Re: Feinwerkbau 603
All of the 600 series rifles look very similar from the outside and are not easy to tell apart until you recognise the small details .
Maybe one day we will be able to assemble an example of each and make a photo-recognition thread?
