A new addition to my collection may be cause for a small revision of the book.

Hello Leonard,

I guess the information in books can only be based on the evidence present at the time of publication.
It's still quite exciting though to find these anomalies and add to the information available to future collectors.

I remember stumbling across a very rare 'Ansons Star' air pistol (only 100 made) a few years ago which carried a Ser No totally at odds with the presumed sequence and date of manufacture.

Regards

Brian

I can imagine the author being a few of, but over 4,000 is quite a discrepancy.

Perhaps it should have read 42,000?

Either way, this new information should certainly prompt a revision of the book.

Kind regards,

Phil
