Its a Spanish made spring loader. It works well and is in good shape. I just can't remember what it is.

Hi Nick,

I'm no expert on foreign spring powered air rifles, but it looks like an El Gamo of some sort. They made quite a few different models so I'm afraid I can't be more specific.

Regards

Brian

Thank you all. Now identified as an El Gamo Paratrooper repeater.

It isn't a Paratrooper Repeater, but my guess is the "Sniper Repeater". The same break barrel action came in two stock styles: the Paratrooper had a military style pistol grip stock and the Sniper a more traditional wooden stock like that. Both were available with and without the repeater mechanism (the inline mag and compatible breech)

Back in the 80s and 90s they were imported by and sold under the brand of ASI (Anglo Spanish Imports).

It is an El Gamo Expomatic or Sniper repeater as the were called when imported by A.S.I.

Strangely enough - mine shoots well and cycles without problems using flat headed Hobby pellets. :D
