Crosman 600 power

It being a nice day, I've been giving my 600 an outing, shooting at 10 and 15 yards, as opposed to me usual 6.
It seemed a bit lacking at that range, so I thought I would see if I could increase the hammer tension.
I found another spring - similar size, but rather more powerful and duly fitted. Certainly increased the power, but proved a bit difficult to cock manually, so decided it was probably too strong.
Settled on increasing the tension of the original spring with a spacer and found that a plumber's 15mm olive fitted and did the job exactly.
Power has increased noticeably without the trigger being unduly heavy.
Now for some extensive field trials
