HI,
I’ve got a Zavasta 5 shot semi-auto pistol ( very similar in design to the Drulov 10, except that it takes 8 g gas capsules.
It has been working fine until now, when it goes full auto. Nothing seems to be worn or broken and as far as I can see the hammer is just failing to latch properly, though it cocks manually with no trouble. I could do with some pointers as to where the fault is likely to lie.
Can anyone give advise?
Thanks, Ian

Re: Zavasta 45 going auto
I am an ex 45 owner & Drulov owner I never had this problem, but friends who owned this pistol did, and they found the problem was trigger adjustment even if you have not altered it lately wear or bedding in can cause this so increasing weight or adjusting release point may rectify this for you. I may have avoided the problem as I usually fired mine single shot for target use, atb, M.

Re: Zavasta 45 going auto
Thanks for the advice. It turned out to be the trigger set too light. Slight adjustment and now working as it should.
Many thanks, Ian
