Christmas is here

So, Christmas is here and just to make Double Sure I get what I want, I bought it for myself
As I indicated in another thread, I managed to get myself a Milling machine. I bought what was there though and one of the very few issues (if it is an issue) is the fact that the X and y axis wheels are in fractions
This Imperial variation is very popular with the Model Engineering fraternity but it gives me a headache performing the mental-gymnastics-on-the-fly when I am trying to do some operations. The answer of course is to install Digital Readouts - DRO's and there are plenty of people out there with their various offerings but I decided to go with those from http://www.Arceurotrade.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; because they had everything I wanted at reasonable cost. Plus I had been slowly selling some personal stuff on ebay with this in mind and had accumulated a little stash in my Paypal account.
So the nice man from the parcel company (complete with Santa Hat) knocked on the door this afternoon and this is what I found when I unpacked it:
The long, 20" bar, was for the X axis (left to right) and I bought a 12" for the Y axis. They both needed a bit of attention from the angle grinder but an hour or so later and here we were:
Best bit is the backlight and the really nice BIG numbers:
This will make my life a little easier and ensure an increase in accuracy. Also, it should save me a load of time.
