Hello,

I have always preferred the rectangular Webley tins to the later round ones. The link below is to an earlier post with a few pictures of some rarer examples of these neat little tins.

The pre-war green .177 tin and .22 orange tins are probably among the rarest and have certainly proved quite difficult to find. The larger (1000) 1960s post-war green .177 tins are also few and far between and the separately pictured little orange .22 tin containing just 250 pellets took even longer to find.

Although the tins help to complete the accessories within cased pistols, I also think they are great to collect in their own right as are the oil cans.

Not bad, especially for free!

The rarer ones say Rifle instead of Rifles.

Kind regards,

Phil
