RWS Meisterkugeln - Some Variations

In the case with my Original Model 10, there was a tin of Meisterkuglen, which is obviously quite old.

As the receipt with the gun is from 1983, I would say that these date from around then at least.

Along with the tins of 500, plastic boxes of 100 were also available. A recent post on the ABBS pointed to an advert on eBay, where there were some of these for sale.

Unlike the 100 boxes today, which usually have a polystyrene lining, this has a stamped thin plastic sheet to hold the pellets.

The two older versions shown next to the latest.

Kind regards,

Going through my pellets stock today I found 3 tins of these, but one tin is labelled 4.48. I did not know they did them in this size I've had 4.49 0r 4.5 before, but was not aware I had any 4.48 ??. M. :?

Interesting size. I don't recall seeing a 4.48mm version of any pellet before either.

Kind regards,

Phil

The RWS Meisterkugeln and the RWS R10 pellets are available in 4.48, 4.49. 4.50 and 4.51.

............no entirely sure why but we can buy them in any of these sizes to order ( minimum quantity is one sleeve of 10 tins).
