As far as I know,three airguns were made in Oz,the K&W,the Hornet and the CRACAJAC. I think Winchester still makes airgun pellets there.
As a matter of interest,even in the 1940s,a police permit was required to own the likes of Daisy BB guns-in Australia.Tough,eh?

Once upon a time, gun licenses could be bought from the local Post Office.
