I'm down to the last 100 or so of the pellets (emergency supply) don't remember buying but was with one of my rifles from the 80's

Hobby tin from the 80's
I have quite a few 80s pellet tins somewhere at my mums.
I must dig them out sometime.
I do think the 80s tins were much more colourful than today's offerings.
Kind regards,
Phil

I picked up a Webley Special tin, recently, and also a cardboard free sample pack which was included with some guns.
Despite being a simple design, the things are quite striking.
Kind regards,
Phil
