Spotted this and took the plunge:-
They do tend to command quite high prices these days, and do tend to increase in value, rather than decrease, so I wasn't too bothered about the cost.
For it's age, it's in quite good condition; though the photograph does seem to have made it's blemishes quite obvious.

I often see the 1000 tins in the orange .22, but not so often the green .177
I paid about £18.50 for this, which is a lot for an empty tin I know, but I expect it won't go down in value, as a very poor example was already up to the £15 mark with still a few days to go when I got this.
Did cheer me up when I got it though.
