Webley Tempsest

A place to discuss all things Webley. As this is probably the most collected airgun maker we felt it deserved a section of its own.

Phil I have found a mint original tempest, and I mean mint, do you think £160 is a bit over priced?

Not too sure regarding Webleys so, hopefully, somebody else will be along to advise.

My first reaction was that it would have been a good price had it been boxed.

Unboxed £110 sounds more comfortable.

Kind regards,

Some outlets are still selling "last of the stock" boxed Tempests for Around £145 ish.  so, I think £160 may be too much. However, you do see Tempests for hopeful similar prices on G**star........ You also see excellent condition examples on G**star etc for less than half that!

Tempest pistol prices

Post by Appinpar68 » Sat Jan 12, 2013 9:15 pm

Yep have to agree with the above

usual price for a second hand Tempest is Between £75 - £100 depending on Condition.

For a Mint unboxed  second hand £110-£120

For a mint boxed £120- £140

Tempest foresight shroud

Post by lodmoor » Sun Jan 20, 2013 2:19 pm

Just a passing comment, the Tempest never had a foresight shroud, only the Hurricane and the Typhoon have them.
Always ready to buy another Webley pistol and another and . . . .

Good point.

I do like a foresight shroud, but don't think they suit all pistol shapes.

The LP53, for example, would look odd with one.

It certainly suits the Hurricane though.
