Hello from Kent

Post by Richardx » Mon Sep 01, 2014 10:06 pm

Hello

I have enjoyed air guns since childhood and have had my BSA for nearly 40 years. I have done some shotgun and rimfire shooting but I have (nearly) always preferred (spring powered) air rifles and pistols. I have an Original Model 6G and would like to do some more focused target shooting. Just want to sharpen up a bit and compete with people who share an interest in springers. There is something rather magical about these precision-engineered "muscle powered" blowguns.

Hello Richard,

And welcome to the forum.

There is something magical about the older airguns, and many of us have happy past memories.

Kind regards,

Hello Richard,

Welcome to the forum. I'm an early British spring powered rifle and pistol fan myself and have quite a few pre-war and post- war BSAs and Webleys etc.

Although I use a pre-charged pistol for serious competition work, I still get greater fun and satisfaction from making the old springers perform to an acceptable level.

Regards

Brian
