Hello

Well, of course, I am the first to write an introduction.

I have been interested in airguns since the mid to late 1970s, and have shot them ever since.

I took up full bore pistol in the late 1980s but the 1997 firearms amendment put paid to that hobby.

I do still shoot PCP and CO2, but will always have a soft spot for the older air gun, especially the springers.

My first ever airgun mag was the 1978 Airgun World Special, which I still have.

I spent an age reading it from cover to cover, drooling over all the guns I wished I could have.

The two that stood out the most, were the Original Model 10 and the Hammerli Master.

Of course, back then, CO2 wasn't allowed.

Kind regards,

Phil

My first airgun was I called a Scout and it worked very much like the old pop guns.

There some pictures of one on the following link:

Very good, and reminds me of a popgun I had, which fired corks.

Kind regards,

Phil
