Was just doing a Google search for vintage airgun pellets and came across >this< site, which looks very interesting.

Kind regards,

Phil

Very good link Phil.

The Girandoni air rifle was, I believe used in the Lewis and Clark expedition during the late 1700s.

I can  remember  a relative of mine owning a walking stick air rifle years and years ago.

An excellend documentary was made on this - it may well be on YouTube somewhere

An amazing pneumatic design the produced enough power to put a large calliber lead ball through an inches thick hardwood plank at a considerable range

It's surprising how long airguns have been around.

A fascinating subject.

I did see an article, once, that listed books and stories with specific references to airguns.

I wouldn't mind tracking that down again.

Kind regards,

Phil
