Excellent advert, if only the world were as amusing today!

Kind regards,

I would need a classic multi-shot though I don't think I could handle that beast and reload a single shot at the same time.

....I wonder what a stimulated liver feels like? :P

Oooo nice.

If it's the barn doors target I'll enter mine too.

Amusing is good.
1949 pistol safety bad.

It appears one should have a finger on the trigger at all times including opening, loading and cocking. Also when opening place one finger on the barrel end.

Going by the flyer Mitch new for 1949.

My favourite part of the advert is:

IT SHOOTS LIKE A REAL GUN!......has front and rear sights.

Nice ad for a very early Marksman.

Yes,  best keep a finger on the trigger at all times,  in preparation for those pesky wrong doers!

Kind regards,

Phil

Im sure I've got a version of that up in my (hoarder's hole) loft. Saturday-task tomorrow.... find it! lol    I think there have been arguments on another forum recently as to whether this is now regarded as R.I.F.   Maybe I'd best leave it in the loft
