Forum Badge

Post by kj68 » Thu May 01, 2014 8:02 am

Hi all I dont know if this is a good idea but here we go. Does the forum have a badge that the members can wear I.e. stitch on or a small metal pin type badge. Would members be willing to pay a small fee towards getting some badges. Would be nice to get some feedback.

Not thought about it really, I am sure they wouldn't be that expensive.

The current logo was only supposed to be temporary, but it's been there that long it's a permanent feature.

Anybody else interested?

Kind regards,

Hello Phil I see we have had quite a good response on the votes for a forum badge, but is it still going to be enough to go ahead with the badge. I know some places will make up small batches but it all comes down to cost and how much to price thr badges at for members. :)

It depends on quality and type.

The RSGB send out a small button badge with membership that is quite quaint.

These are cheap enough to make a batch and I would expect to pad then on for £1.00 to £1.50 all in.

Enamel badges are likely to be around £6 minimum.

Kind regards,

Hello Phil I think £6 per badge is very reasonable and I honestly cant see many members objecting at that price. Will be nice to here what the next step will be. :D
