Which classic pistol would you find hard to resist?

A place for anything general gun related, if there isn't already an appropriate sub forum.

Which pistol would you find hard to resist if you saw one for sale?

There are a number on my list which I would find very tempting. However if I saw an LP53 in its original delux hard case then I suspect I would not be able to contain myself

The un-resistable pistol for me would be a Record Jumbo lux, i've already owned many fine guns over the years, theirs just something about this one
an experience i would love to repeat, mine had paticularly nice walnut grips, M.

Both guns I would certainly like to own.

However, my top choice at the moment would be an Original Model 10 mint in box with accessories.

Kind regards,

Phil

I used a friend's Mod 6 match recently....... It was (to me) like being behind the wheel of an E-type Jag.  I covet both of those too.

Not too far from me, but I am not dipping into my Steyr LP2 fund, even though it's tempting.

Not sure if I am being stingy here, but a few Model 6s, in various guises, have been up for £250 plus.

I paid £75 posted for mine,  with £30 to Lawrie for a reseal.

Granted it's not boxed,  but I would've thought £200 would be tops for a tidy boxed example.

Kind regards,

I've noticed, that in the last few days as we get nearer to xmas, that some asking prices on G**st** etc have risen way beyond the true value. Yesterday, there was a Webley Junior in an identical box to the one mine came with a month ago, and the pistol itself is a few months younger, but tattier than mine...... but at 3 times the price I paid!

Gunstar is often full of the uneducated thinking they have found the holy grail of guns and will get what they as for "such a rare gun."
