Christmas Airgun prezzies/activities

Post by zunmik » Sat Dec 29, 2012 2:55 pm

Well what airgun wise did you get for xmas, or what have you done airgun
based. My Jumbo was bought for me as a prezzie so had to go to Santa   , but got it now. I've got some airgun practice in including my first unsupported pistol practice for several months used the Compact as its not to heavy i shot like a muppet, but after about 40 mins started to get it together finally got 3 bulls out of 5 shots & a sore shoulder to match.
I hope you've all had a great xmas, and have a happy new year, M.  :)

Glad you are enjoying the Jumbo.

We don't do Christmas these days, always seems to be some crisis, just before, that spoils it, so don't really look forwards.

As we buy what we want, when we want it, we don't tend to do presents either, apart from a token DVD or similar. Weather has been awful, so not got much shooting done.

I had 1/2 an hour with the MP-53M to see what fps it did with various pellets.

Let's hope the coming year is better than the last. I'll be glad to see the back of it for many reasons.

Hope everybody had an enjoyable Christmas and will enjoy a prosperous New Year.

Kind regards,

Phil

I got a knock down shooting gallery with duck targets and a reset centre target, a single spring conversion and a piston seal for my Relum and my pistol was an early birthday present for January. Very happy with them all.  8)

I've been looking at the "knock down gallery targets" recently.

Quite a few out there, what do you think?

Kind regards,

I haven't actually had chance to try it out yet but it is certainly well put together. Mine is the SMK one and I am pretty impressed. It is a magnetic system that seems very smooth but I guess only using in anger will show it's quality. It's not the lightest thing in the World so portability is limited but it has various hanging slots so it is versatile when it comes to mounting.
I'll let you know what it's like after I have used it if you are interested.
Cheers, Jon.
