Not heard of that.

Slightly familiar with a parkerised finish, very hard wearing, but that's about it.

Kind regards,

Ah, it's a lubricant.

Their choice of name is a little misleading, as I thought it was a surface finish.

Used to be a lot of PTFE sprays around at one point, but I have never used any before.

Kind regards,

Phil

Your absolutely right there used to be quite a few products around with PTFE, in fact thee still are. Nick, I believe, makes one, Hoppes certainly do.  Then there are the motor products such Slik 50.

However the bit that caught my interest was the use ceramics which I haven't come across before in lubricants.  I have come across the use of china clay
In wire drawing lubricants but It's not quite the same as ceramic.

Would be good to hear what you think.

I'll have s flick through some old AGWs to see if I can find the advert for the one I am thinking about.

Kind regards,

I cleaned my semi-auto RF rifle, lubed with the Anschutz Germanic Coating. It did not cycle properly, it ejected but did not reload or cock. This was over 20 rounds.  I wiped out what  I could of the lube, gave it a quick spray with Ballistol and then no problems.

I wont be buying any more.

Sounds like one of those products where it's reputation outstrips its ability.

At least you gave it a go.
