Olympic Pistol Shooting

I was trying to explain this to someone the other day. I cannot read it all in one sitting as it just makes me want to weep. This really is proof that there are some intractable old guard in the ranks of British Shooting who jhave long since forgotten what shooting is all about and their own agenda has invaded and ruined a sport of which the UK was once proud. They should really do the honourable thing - that is if they still own a gun themselves!

This is the inside track:

It absolutely infuriates me that true sportsmen are treat in such a shabby way.

I’m going off to go find myself. If I’m not back by the time I return, keep me here.

A bit like cricket.

People are selected from the old boys club, and not necessarily on ability.

Kind regards,

Who appoints these people to their positions of influence and what criteria are they subject to ? If it's the old chums school of selection to these governing bodies then the incompetence will continue ad infinitum.
