Cry for help. Has anyone got an answer as to what type {name for commercially available] of O ring is suitable for use in Co2 guns. I know that Nitrile will work in a limited capacity but is affected by Co2 and when exposed to atmosphere will expand and cannot be re-used for several hours. The names of Viton and Nylatron seem to crop up but I can't find any supplier that offers the latter and I'm not sure about the first one on a long term basis. Any one got any answers please? bellringer
Re: Co2 'O' rings
The best grade and material for the o-rings to re-seal a CO2 gun is 90 durometer urethane.
Any hydraulics or industrial supply shop should have them, or be able to order them.

Re: Co2 'O' rings
LeonardJ, many thanks for the info. I have now fully stripped down the gun [crosman 600] and now have a chance of a lasting repair with the correct substance for the O rings. Regards and thank you again bellringer
