Boxed Pre War Webley MK1 Slant Handle, and Selection ofMK1s

A place to discuss all things Webley. As this is probably the most collected airgun maker we felt it deserved a section of its own.

Just received this boxed pre war Webley MK1 with slant handle to add to my collection - and indeed (growing) collection of MK1s :D

Hello David,

Nice to see your Webley collection is on the increase. I started with just pre-war Webley pistols which inevitability led to post-war pistols, then other early British air pistols and so on until I eventually ran out of space. At least I no longer hang on to duplicates when something better comes along, but it has to be strictly one in one out these days.

My favourite Webley air pistol remains the pre-war Slant Grip Senior which combined the extra cocking link introduced with the Straight Grip Senior with a much more natural grip angle.

Keep us posted on how you are coping with any attempts to manage your now deeply ingrained Webley addiction.

Regards

Brian

Thanks Brian. Yes, some these Webleys can be expensive. Now, what I need next is a MK1 with single barrel spring clip and one with double spring clip.................... :D

Hi David,

I have handled a double clip Mk1, but don't know of anybody who has seen a single clip model, so I guess there will always be something out there to find.

When you complete your Webley air pistol collection, there is still the rifles, oil cans, pellet tins etc to keep feeding the addiction.

Regards

Brian

I've already started on the Webley pellet tins. Apparently there is no cure for this Webley collecting bug, except to purchase more items!!
