BRNO
I was given a broken BRNO B95 AERON single shot pistol. Now holds gas OK just a rear sight base to make. However each shot causes the loading trap to fly open, nothing seems broken; so is this normal ???? You only have to open the trap all the way over to re cock the pistol, is this flying open a sym...

Re: Spare Parts for German and Other Airguns
I use this company a lot, nice to deal with, not always the cheapest, but prices are generally fair, postage service is very good. The only drawback as with other companies that need a currency exchange is the cost of around £10 per transaction. They have a brilliant range of parts, many unobtainabl...

Re: Webley Tempest
In all honesty I wouldn't lube it much at all. The piston head doesn't really need it, and most pivot areas have enough clearance not to be a worry. However if you want to lube pivot points, use a light moly oil from a reputable gun shop; do not use a basic silicone oil, it 's not an actual lubrican...

Re: FB Record Jumbo
Finally managed to get enough parts to service the Jumbo, so that's a success, many thanks to the guys who supplied me with spares, but again thanks to the efforts of a member on another forum, I have been given contact details for the existing company dealing in things ''record''. I have sent a par...

FB Record Jumbo
Hi guys and gals happy New year to everyone. I'm looking for help with the proverbial needle in the haystack. I am looking for a breech seal and piston head for the said record jumbo. Posted on other forums, leads not replied to, sadly; so any help greatly appreciated. Nice little pistol but the pis...

Re: Diana Model 6 Cutaway
WOW!!!! I don't understand much German but the history article was truly fascinating, the photos themselves tell a powerful story. The cutaway Mod. 6 is indeed excellent and being able to still operate it, says much about the person who did the machining; I have a cutaway starting pistol from the We...

Re: Proof Marks on a Webley mk3
I have now come across several proof marked MKIII's. It is assumed by the proof house that they were marked for export use as some countries required it. It seemed strange at first as the gun is a tap loader so couldn't fire live ammo.; even stranger is the BP proof mark, which if you go to the Birm...

Re: Lost My Marbles??
Zunmik, I had treatment in the form of painkillers for two years plus for Arthritis, only to find out I had an overgrown piece of bone on the top of the ''cup'' part of my shoulder joint, which trapped the cartilage and caused excruciating pain and reduced mobility; I had an operation called an '' e...

Weihrauch 45
Hi guys, posted on other sites, but, I have just done a service on a HW 45 pistol and as I haven't handled one in years, I suddenly noticed an 'oddity', in most 'normal' springers the main spring guide is at the cylinder end plug end of the mainspring; but in the '45' the guide is in the mainspring ...

BELL TARGETS
Hi guys, just posted in Bell Target section; my mini collection of Bell targets, sadly in copying they have been jumbled up, so are not in correct order, It appears that if you click on the thumbnail to the right of the main image, a second album is shown, these seem to be in correct order and will ...

BELL TARGETS
Sorry, not yet got round to taking decent pics of my friends retro bell target but I posted photos of my own mini collection elsewhere and thought it may be of interest to APA members also. Just viewed the download and it seems the photos are jumbled up, if you look to the right of the main image th...

Chronograph from Holland
Posted on other forums , but I feel such good service, cost and price are worth passing on wherever possible. I recently ordered an R2 chrono from MH Schietsport. Netherlands. The chrono is Polish made, very compact and having placed it in front of a Scan chrono and shot through both at the same tim...

Re: Christmas Fairguns.
Absolutely fabulous; I don't know if council permission or any other permission was needed, but congratulations to whoever said yes; nice to know your local police force [who must have been very aware of it] didn't give any problems to the stallholder, presumably with no one being shot to death with...
