Re: Back garden or club shooter

I shoot weeknights after work in my garage. On weekends I sometimes drive the 30 minutes to the local handgun range where I am a member and shoot both airguns and vintage revolvers, mostly in .455. I sometimes get strange looks from other members shooting air pistols and air rifles on a firearms ran...

Fishguy, Webley Juniors similar to the one in your photo go from $100 to $150 here on Vancouver Island; generally closer to $100. They are not too common here.

Smooth finish LP53

Recently I had problems with transferring photos from my Apple to Photobucket resulting in tardiness in posting pics.It is in working condition and very accurate. Since buying this LP53, I have purchased a Walther LP3 with the wooden target grips. Unfortunately, it needs new seals. http://i298.photo...

Re: Interesting LP53 finish anomaly.

I recently bought a boxed smooth finish LP53. The serial number is 011829. Does anyone know the year/serial number when the crinkle was first used?

Re: And now; from Norwich....

I too enjoy deer stalking via modern rifle, muzzle loader, bow and crossbow. And eating too! I had the backstrap from a Vancouver Island black-tail deer for supper. Webley air pistols and revolvers (especially .455) are another passion of mine. I recently added a Webley service rifle to the collecti...

Re: Haenel Model 28 Chrono Numbers

I don't have a Haenel Model 28, but do have two Webley juniors that I have chronographed. Today, I changed both the mainspring and leather seal in one. It now has an average muzzle velocity of 345 feet per second using Crosman wadcutters. This is 38 feet per second faster than before the tune-up. An...

Leonard, that BSA is a beauty. I have no idea what the unusual modification could be for; hopefully, someone on the forum knows.

BSA Pylarm Pellets in Aluminum Cylinder

Yesterday, while attending a Vancouver Island gun show I came across a BSA pellet tin that I had never seen before. The vendor was only asking $1 so naturally it had to come home with me. It is an aluminum cylinder containing about 100 traditional .177 diabolo style pellets. I assume this was a samp...

Hello Hamish,

What does "PB" stand for? In my house it is short for peanut butter.

I'm impressed with both targets. I look forward to seeing the next target after the old BSA receives some attention.

Re: Webley Pellets

I enjoyed looking at your collection. I too, collect Webley pellet tins and also oil cans. Both are difficult to find in my part of the world.
