Are there any instructions on how to assemble the Champion pistol ? I have never been able to do this successfully.

Re: Schimel Co2 Pistol.
Brian, new grips are available and we have a stock of new seals, but never seem to need them. The triggers break when people force them with the safety applied apparently, I have never seen this happen. The early zamak ( uk mazak) had a problem that produced a white powder residue which shows there ...

Re: Schimel Co2 Pistol.
Yes, one of the best, and the nice thing is you can get spares for them. Think I saw you buy the one at Bisley. Two of mine are on the Schimel website in the States. Sold one, but gingernut was kind enough to sell me one of his so I still have a pair.Agree they have good power and accuracy. Baz http...

Re: Challenger Arms Corporation Plainsman co2 Pistol
A true hand cannon of the CO2 type. Use ear defenders when using. Amazingly accurate well built pistol from a bygone era, and hard to find in good condition for the collector.Designed by Challenger Arms to be easy for the owner to replace seals. Re: Air Match CU650 Olympic
Like my extension, as does the wife  (that is, being the weaker sex). Also handy for training youngsters in pistol shooting. Anyway these pistols are way down the list of my old favourites, that is why I am selling mine from my collection. Another Baikal IZH 46 has cropped up for sale locally, ...

Re: Air Match CU650 Olympic
Phil, your theory on potential accuracy sounds correct but in the case of these pistols the barrel is solidly locked up when in battery and at the point of firing. I have found them very accurate comparing to my other SSP target pistols such as the Baikal IZH-46M. They do seem to vary in power on di...

Re: Air Match CU650 Olympic
I have come across two of these in the last couple of years, sold one and now selling the second one. This one has an extension to the cocking handle which makes loading the pistol a piece of cake. Re: Diana Model IV
zooma, have you got the Model 1 in your collection? Just worked on mine today, it is in excellent condition, the best one I have seen.Could have been a kids Christmas present nearly 80 years ago. I have the box and instructions also. Baz http://i1225.photobucket.com/albums/ee395/2schimels/DianaModel...

Re: Schimels
John, gingernut and I have had 4 of these, here is a pic of mine that is on the Schimel website.I have just the one now which I have fitted new grips to.I have spare seals for these and can repair them. They are one of the most enjoyable CO2 pistols to shoot, very accurate and sounds like shooting a ...

Re: DRULOV DU10 / ZAVASTA GP45
The reason most people do not understand the loading system of the DU-10 is because it is difficult to remove the barrel from the breach block to inspect it.When you have done this you can see the 4 claws at the breach which hold the front pellet in position.Basically the claws are set wide enough t...

Re: Old leather seal help please
You can buy sets of different size leather washers on fleabay. They can be expensive, £15 for 6 sizes but I have repaired some old rifles with them.Hitler would never have trained with a rifle like yours, he was 25 years old in 1914 and served in the First World War.

CERTUS
At present working on a Cogswell and Harrison Certus. Made around 1930 this is one of the rarest air pistols around.Valued in the Blue Book at around $3000, especially this one which has the target barrel. When it is fixed will report on how this thing shoots, i.e. power and accuracy.

Re: Air Match
I have had a couple of these.Although I have a few other quality target pistols, I like the way these sit in the hand with a low profile.Sold one and kept this one which has really good pressure, so much so it has an extension to the cocking lever.
