Re: Vulcan gas ram fitting.
I'm a bit miffed at the need to do anything. It's sold as a fitment for the Vulcan and yet there is a need to modify the gun and the ram itself is a very loose fit inside the piston and the advice there is to wrap it in insulating tape until it's a good fit. I can only imagine the sticky mess that t...

Vulcan gas ram fitting.
The last time that I fitted a gas ram (on a BSA) it was, as I recall, a simple spring out gas ram in job. The instructions for my Vulcan are telling me to cut down part of the body end plug that acts as a mount for the spring guide. If I do this it means that it will be difficult to return the Vulca...

Re: The FAS 6004 - no, not a spelling mistake
It's not great value if the BAR price is correct. £60 difference seems a bit much. I didn't realise that the 604 sold for £600. It remains to be seen if machine built 6004 turns out to be as well put together as hand made 604. I'll definitely be having a trip down to Blackpool to decide if I need on...

Re: Poll - should comps be verified?
I'm now starting my second season entering UBC comps and have sent in my first score for a CAPA comp. Up until last week I was not a member of a club and would not have been able to get my scores verified. Surely the whole idea is to give people an excuse to get their guns out and get shooting. If y...

Just to update this thread, Blackpool Air Rifles are listing this as "available soon". Price with an ambi grip is £339 and £389 with an anatomical grip.

Hi from sunny Cumbria I've arrived here via the UBC. A mate with blowback BB gun got me interested in shooting again and I bought the same as he has. This led me to dig the old Webley Tempest out and use them both in the UBC 6 yard comps. My lack of ability, but increasing determination with those t...
