Re: Webley Mark 1 markings
I have just received a mark I, serial number 16260 (straight grip) (third series?), that has the "A" stamped inside the grip web in the same place as that described in my original post. The font is the same. There must be others with these markings?

Re: wishlists : pistols we are looking for or aspire to own
Hi Certus The search is ongoing - last month I was given a Walther LP53 - well used but in very nice condition(complete with all the extras including the sales outlet data). The gun was owned by a distant relative who was a competition shooter and included in the box was a strange little device with...

Not to be removed warning
Can anyone advise when the warning "Not too be removed" was first applied to the Mk1 (new shape) on the rear face of the cylinder breech screw - Gordon Bruce notes that it was on guns after serial number 55265 (pg 69 Webley Air pistols by Gordon Bruce) but I have a gun without the warning with a ser...

Tempest Transition Model?
Hello I have just been looking at an advertisement for a "Webley Tempest Transition Model". It notes that this is a rare item and it seems to consist of a Tempest body with a Hurricane barrel and bits. It states that the use of a Hurricane barrel results in more power than a standard Tempest. (This ...

Predom Lucznic
I have a very nice Predom Lucznic and would like some advice as to its correct name. Various on line posts state that the correct name is either "Lucznic" and made in the Radom factory (a member of the Predom group of companies) or Type 170. Both names have me bemused. The former since there is no m...

Re: wishlists : pistols we are looking for or aspire to own
When I started collecting(?) I wrote a para that described my objectives. It was "This collection is directed at pistols that have a superior quality and/or unique design along with guns primarily designed for 10 metre competition." Webleys excluding Juniors have formed the base of the collection. H...

Re: Acvoke
Problem solved - take out the trigger mechanism and the cocking arm slides out from a slot just above the trigger.

Acvoke
Can anyone advise on how to remove the piston from an Acvoke. It seems that the cocking lever (which doubles as the trigger guard) needs to be removed so the piston can slide out of the front but I can't see how the cocking lever is removed.

Acvoke
I have just procured an Acvoke and note references to serial numbers in other postings on the fora. I cannot find any serial number on the gun I have. Can anyone advise where I should be looking? The Gun has the 1947 marked on the inside of the grips (along with an L and R). On the rear is the maker...
