FAS 6004 - arrival imminent.
Just a "heads up" - Manchester Airguns will have examples of the new FAS 6004 in stock in four weeks time, so about the 18th of June. If you want one I suggest you get your orders in early as there is just bound to be a shortage. As with all things of this nature, this is an eagerly anticipated new ...

Re: 3in1 spray
It is fine but my advice would be to go to Halfords right now (probably the only time I would advise this) and pick up a couple of tins of GT85 spray as it is only £3.00 a tin but this is likely to change pretty soon, the price I mean. You can be quite liberal with the stuff and it certainly won't d...

Re: Theoben Fenman
Hi Steve, the early Theoben guns are a completely different animal to the later HW90. Weihrauch redesigned the cocking linkage/attachment and the trigger housing. They are very "agricultural" on the Fenman. Remember, much of this gun is a cobbled together BSA Meteor cocking lever and some Webley int...

Knives
I suppose we could ask to maybe start a new thread about knives? But actually, although the title says "knives" it should really say: "Cutlery and the End of an Era". Bit strong that though, but true. So this is probably going to be quite a long post, anyone who has been trapped by me having to endu...

Re: Well here it is, the REALLY mysterious East
Well Robin, you will be pleased to know it worked fine. It was all a bit of a learning curve to be honest and I can say that this is not something I shall be repeating unless the rebuild in question is very special or the client has very deep pockets. It was interesting and I am pleased I attempted ...

Re: Theoben Fenman
Very kind offer Steve but I have a couple of High Pressure pumps and air supplies, but thank you. This all ended in tears anyway. As many of you will know there are no spares available for the Theoben guns but there are a number of us manufacturing spares but one of the major problems with this part...

Aeron Brno B96 Chameleon
I have a real soft spot for these. At one point I had the B-96 and the B-97 until Jim stole the B-97 and won't give it back :D Very accurate, a real target pistol, the B-96 is a rapid fire five shot semi auto pistol propelled (the pellet, not the gun) and beautifully engineered, as are most Czech gu...

Going to have another go in the morning, picked up another tin of builders foam this afternoon. I have applied another layer of thinking to it:-)

Theoben Fenman
I suppose an argument could be made that the Theoben Fenman is not a classic. However, given the history of the gun and indeed the company itself, I would put this rifle in the "classic" category. Not the least for the innovative Gas Ram technology it uses, quite cutting edge in it's time. Anyhow, I...

Re: Well here it is, the REALLY mysterious East
Soooooooo! It didn't quite work out as planned. When I was putting this together I thought - Mmmm, need to put something between the material and the foam or it might seep through and ruin it AND if I don't put something between the board and the foam, that'll stick too. So, having calculated carefu...

Re: Well here it is, the REALLY mysterious East
So, I was taking a break today and checked my email in the workshop. Amazingly there was a note from Robin "how's the Chinky coming along, I miss it"!! :D I was amazed, because sitting in front of my was the fruit of my morning's work. The pictures will tell the story, interspersed with a bit of com...

Re: Gamo MC the Super Gamo
In the third and fourth pictures down, posted above(?), you can see the firing valve just protruding from the pressure cylinder. This valve has two seals on it, you can see the remnants of one in this photograph: http://immersible.co.uk/airguns/gamo-mc/gamo-10.jpg There are no seals available of cou...

Well here you go, your wish has come true! :D The polished receiver is now the correct colour and back together: http://immersible.co.uk/airsporter/airsporter-000.jpg Here we go, start off with all the bits. Actually there is one missing. It is the tiny screw that holds the front sight blade in. I h...

Bolt shortening
A couple of people have asked the question: "The Bolt/Screw/Fastener is too long, How do I shorten it?" Well, it is pretty simple really but if you follow this simple guide you will never have a problem. This is going to be a pictoral "How To" because I like pretty colours:-) So, for this exercise w...
