ORIGINAL 6M
Just thought I'd let people know my local gun shop Sporting Supplies @ Bloxwich [tel 01922 406777] had an Original Mod 6m for sale on Saturday last. As I was interested in something else I'm not sure of the asking price, but it shoots very nicely and is in fairly good condition, well worth a phone c...

Re: Webley Mark III valuation request
Nick Hi from bellringer. I would agree a price of around £175 would be a good starting point, as ever boxes, instruction manuals, etc. all add to a guns value. I noticed that the plastic name disc may have lost its 'screening'; if you want a new genuine Webley disc to replace it, I have some and wil...

Re: Webley Junior - help needed.
:handgestures-thumbupright: Hi, from bellringer. The thread you are looking for is .180" x 50tpi [probably Whit form] they were made by a company called 'Lyndon' not far from where I live but I can't seem to trace them at the moment, they may not exist any longer. However I have one tap which I re-g...

Re: Collectors Fayre / Shooting Show
Phil, Hi, the 'show' refered to, is "The British Shooting Show 2014" @ Stoneleigh Park. Warwickshire. 14th to 16th Feb inc. It is now a three day event due to overwhelming demand; and claims to be the biggest show of its type in the UK & Europe; I know the IWA show in Germany is big, maybe bigger in...

Re: Posting pictures
I have asked the same question a couple of times and this seems to be the most simple solution. I have Adobe Photoshop 5.0 which has a resize function, so just out of curiosity I resized a photo down to 600 pixels width and the photo just became smaller on the screen, is this normal?. Also what is t...

Re: Co2 'O' rings
LeonardJ, many thanks for the info. I have now fully stripped down the gun [crosman 600] and now have a chance of a lasting repair with the correct substance for the O rings. Regards and thank you again bellringer

Co2 'O' rings
Cry for help. Has anyone got an answer as to what type {name for commercially available] of O ring is suitable for use in Co2 guns. I know that Nitrile will work in a limited capacity but is affected by Co2 and when exposed to atmosphere will expand and cannot be re-used for several hours. The names...

Re: Webley Pistols Barrel Rifling
Wow Phil, quick reply, and another interesting bit of information; I hadn't come across the Whitworth info before [to my knowledge] so that gives lots of us another excuse to delve into old shooting books looking for info about 'lost' historical facts.

Re: Webley mk1/mk2/mk3, Group shot..
John Hi, nice to see the four MK III's. As you state the oldest one has the two stage trigger and with its number seems to re-inforce the growing doubt that is popular amongst historians, that the two stage trigger stopped at No 2500. Also I read somewhere that Webley used another wood apart from Wa...

Webley Pistols Barrel Rifling
Hi all; belated Happy New Year to everyone. I notice that rifling in pistol barrels crops up regularly, and here's a bit of food for thought from my box of useless memories in the depths of what serves as my brain. If you have a Webley pistol with a "composite" barrel assy. as on Typhoon/ Hurricane ...

Re: Webley mk1/mk2/mk3, Group shot..
Superb group photo. Many years ago when I had a 300+ collection I could have and really do wish I had done a similar photo but I could have included all three barrels on the Mk II and MK III's in .177/.22/S-TGT/ two stage trigger and S-TGT conversion in .22 cal. Sadly or stupidly or both; most guns ...
