Re: Webley Pellets
I enjoyed looking at your collection. I too, collect Webley pellet tins and also oil cans. Both are difficult to find in my part of the world.

BSA Standard Variant 2L
At a Vancouver Island gun show the weekend before last, I was offered a BSA Standard Variant 2 L (.177). It was the first I had ever seen in the flesh so naturally it had to come home with me to keep my full size BSA Standard company. Here is a photo showing the difference in size, as well as photos...

The 407 refers to a batch number. The Junior Mark II was produced from 1973 to 1976.

Re: Crosman 150
I too have a Crosman 150. It looks the same as yours. Mine was made in Dunnville, Ontario, Canada. While I own several CO2 guns, the 150 is my favourite to plink with. Leondarj resealed it for me about two years ago. They are well made guns and should offer many more years of service. While I was te...

Re: Daisy 717
I bought a used Daisy 717 several years ago and was amazed at its accuracy. I still enjoy shooting it and after several thousands of shots have not had to repair anything. A remarkable "cheap" (price wise) air pistol.

Re: Webley Junior Mark II
Hello Certus,
Fortunately, mine still has the adhesive label.
I didn't have any H&N Match around the house, but did try a few RWS Hobby. They grouped very well.
Thank you for the suggestion.

Webley Junior Mark II
I purchased a Junior Mark II (95% plus finish remaining)this morning at a Vancouver Island gun show. It is the first of these I have seen for sale for some time. Surprisingly, it came with the box (though a bit tatty) and all the literature. Most young boys I know would have either thrown away the b...

This Christmas I treated myself...
I bought a Walther LGV .177 with Tyrolean walnut stock and a BSA pre-war under-lever in .22 . I have wanted examples of each of these rifles for a few years. When a collector in Ontario, Canada, decided to sell-off his collection I decided it was time to act. Fortunately, my wife was in agreement an...

Thank you for posting the photo Big Steve. I have wondered what they looked like, but didn't want to break the seal of the box I recently purchased.

Re: Quackenbush Felted Slugs
No they were not a felt cleaning pellet. Here is some information I found on the Pyramid airgun website. When H.M. Quackenbush brought out his popular line of airguns, he also made darts for them, and that was considered their best ammunition. Later, he brought out several different types of ammo fo...

Quackenbush Felted Slugs
I was at a Vancouver Island gun show a couple of weekends ago and picked-up this full box of Quackenbush felted slugs. It was the first time I had ever seen anything Quackenbush on this island. I am curious to see what they look like, but the box is sealed so am loath to open it. http://i298.photobu...

Vintage Diana Pellet Tin
I am hoping that someone on this forum can help me date a Diana pellet tin. I purchased a Webley Senior a few months back. It was a package deal that included a second type post-war Webley oil can, a partial round tin of early post-war Webley pellets, and a sealed tin of Diana pellets. I haven't bee...
