feinwerkbau 100
Hi, I've been after a high powered SSP for a while now (big fan of the Daisy 717) and finally managed to get my hands on a lightly used 1988 FWB100 from Germany. I stripped it and gave it a good clean and fitted new seals and it's as good as new. Tried it out today......what an awesome pistol: https...

Record Jumbo
I used to love visiting Steatham Armoury in the early 90’s and pestering the owner with questions https://www.flickr.com/gp/158270726@N07/m8v2v2" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Jumbo is a great little pistol, Record were pretty innovative with that and the champion, even though the ch...

Re: Record Champion
Unfortunately it's beyond repair so I've returned it.
They are pretty rare (Record only made them for a couple of years) but I'll keep an eye out for another one.

Record Champion
Hi, Has anyone got a source for a parts diagram or spare parts for a Record Champion? Just got my hands on one (been looking for ages) Unfortunately the part that the the cocking link pushes back to cycle the next pellet seems to be disconnected (or snapped) from the pellet insertor. (the white plas...

Re: 1st Series Briton, .22 Warrior and a few Diana Mod 2's
Hi Matt, I replied to your PM, but I'm not sure it was sent correctly, so here is the content just in case. The pellet seater is referenced in 'The Encyclopedia of Spring Air Pistols' by John Griffiths which although now out of print is still recognised as the bible for all serious spring air pisto...

Re: !st Series Briton, .22 Warrior and a few Diana Mod 2's
One For Brian.... The first series Briton is by far the most interesting pistol which might be better sold via BBS or auction given the rarity of the pellet seater. You could take them to the Kempton Fair, but selling a lot of similar pistols at the same time might prove difficult. Good luck whatev...

Re: Tinplate Briton & Limit push barrels. Rare?
Hello, The rarest and consequently the most valuable British made pop-out pistols are the early machined steel examples such as the first series 'Briton' and Lincoln Jeffries 'Scout'. Most of the later tinplate pistols were based on the Diana Mod 2 including the second series Briton which is why th...

Re: The "Scout" and "Briton" Air Pistols
The second pistol is yet another Frank Clarke design called the “Briton” (first model) and was produced in Birmingham between 1925-1930. Again of heavy steel construction the pistol was finished in either blue or rarely nickelled finish with black vulcanite grips. The smoothbore barrel was of .177 ...

Tinplate Briton & Limit push barrels. Rare?
Hi, As I mentioned on my introduction I've recently bought a collection of vintage Air Pistols with a view to keeping my favorites and selling some at Kempton Park next month. I'm going to pick out some interesting ones I'm having trouble putting a price on and see what you think regarding rarity an...
