Re: FAS 6004 - arrival imminent.
Im sorry ADAM77K but I cant help you with your query re the power. Mines gone back to the importers via the retailers. I hope to receive either another make of pistol or a credit note. I certainly DONT want another FAS6004. :hand: I.M.O. the engineering with regards to the back sight just isn'...

Re: FAS 6004 - arrival imminent.
One of our club members has a 604. I will ask to have a close examination of that. I dont mind the press steel rear sight even though, in my case, there wasnt enough adjustment. IF I decided to keep this pistol I will make a taller front sight blade. What worries me is if FAS consider a 2mm h...

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v485/Airsniper/Airgun%20bits/FAS6004sight.jpg The middle hole (top) is the one thats stripped. The two holes either side of it are for small springs. The pellet is just for size comparison. The retailer has been in contact (several times  ) with the man...

Re: FAS 6004 - arrival imminent.
Again, perhaps my example was a rouge :( but 3mm does sound better but even that stripped on one of Mickens 604s so ............ The problem I saw with tapping out the adjuster hole was that the spring detent was next to the tapped hole so there wasn't enough meat  unless you lost the d...

Re: FAS 6004 - arrival imminent.
Im glad you had a better experience with your example of 6004 than I had with mine. :( I cannot fault its accuracy, ( and, of course I believe you with regards to your great groups :liar: ) and, once I'd done a bit of adjustment with the trigger it was a nice unit that broke cleanly. I didn't have t...

Re: FAS 6004 - arrival imminent.
If your thinking of buying a FAS6004 I would hold off for a while. :naughty: My first impressions on accuracy were very good but I did mention it was shooting slightly higher at 10m than I liked. So, on Thursday, I tried gently turning the elevation screw on the rear sight down and it stripp...

Re: Dukinfield Airgun Club
So glad that 'Ducky' have managed to find a new premises so soon. Yet another facility for airgunners in this region who are spoilt for choice.
Well done to all those who mucked in and worked so hard to get the new ranges up and running so soon.

'... looking good...' and shooting good have no connection. Take me for example.kj68 wrote:Hi Graham it would be nice if the new 6004 shoots anywhere as good as the 604. I hope so as it looks good to.

It will be interesting to see if the new spares are compatible with the 604.
