Andy McLachlan & Ian Jones Visit RMTC

A place to recommend a good airgun related book, or an article in a magazine, etc.

Interesting article in latest (November) issue of Airgunner magazine featuring a visit by Andy McClachlan and Ian Jones to Rivington Rifles where they apparently received a very warm welcome and enjoyed the excellent facilities in an unusual environment.

I think I might be in this issue with my LGR, along with Bob and Graham.

Ian is the Secretary of Rivington Riflemen, so it must have been a short trip out. Then again, he holidays upstairs!

Kind regards,

Hi Phil,

There certainly is a great photo of you engaging the bell target with your LGR. A very correct looking stance which must surely have resulted in a satisfying ding.

The stand originally started as a field target stance to manage the weight of the HW77K while taking a standing shot, and slowly got closed up further as my shoulder stated to give me trouble.

It works well though, as it puts all the weight into the hip and down the leg.

Kind regards,

Phil
